Kindergarteners and first grade swim students enjoy free swim lessons in the spring thanks to Gunnison Met Rec and the Gunnison Recreation Center. These valuable lessons are provided to our youngest students for the purpose of both safety and fun. Students take the school bus down to the Gunnison Recreation Center to work with their skilled teachers for three afternoons.
